Can I sell my course in any desired currency?

Didacte uses the Stripe payment processor as its payment gateway. Stripe allows payments in multiple currencies. You can, therefore, select one of these currencies to be set as the default currency for your platform. You can only set 1 currency on your platform.

If you have international customers, the conversion into their currency will be done directly with their credit card provider at the rates in effect at the time of the transaction.

How are the Didacte fees collected?

When selling online courses, you must first connect your Stripe account to receive payments from your customers.

Stripe will hold a fee from each transaction processed through Didacte.

Didacte’s transaction fees are only charged on the basic (10%) and standard (5%) plans. Visit the pricing page to learn more about the prices and features included in each plan.

These transaction fees are retained by Didacte when a user purchases a course or subscribes to a set of courses. You will then receive the remaining balance directly in your Stripe account.

Does Didacte promote my content?

No. Didacte does not manage a “marketplace” or directories to promote the training offered by its clients. Each platform is independent and the promotion strategies are at the convenience of each trainer.

However, we understand that marketing online courses can be a challenge for some. That’s why we provide several tools and advice to facilitate the success of your project.

The platform's e-commerce approach allows you to create your training catalog, which is customizable through options for categorization and organization of the display order.

On paid-license plans, a coupon and promotional code tool can help support your web marketing strategy. Coupons can be time-sensitive and give discounts as a percentage of the sale price or as a predetermined amount.

Can I offer promotions or discounts on my courses?

Yes! Didacte has implemented an integrated coupon system to help you boost your sales. 

By creating time-limited or limited-quantity promo codes, you can attract more hesitant customers, and thereby increase sales. 

You can also generate coupons with a unique code to do targeted marketing or to build your customer loyalty strategy.

Finally, the codes are a way to easily trace the origin of your new sales and enrolments, thanks to the sales reports tracking the various coupons redemptions. 

Note that your users can apply discount coupons or promotional codes on course available under one-time payment. Coupons cannot be applied on subscriptions.

Is it possible to create subscriptions plans rather than selling my courses “à la carte”?

Yes! Didacte offers you the options of selling your training courses one by one or through subscription plans.

By selling your courses individually, your students can register independently for one or more training courses according to their interests.

Selling subscription plans allow you to grant your users access to a set of courses for as long as they renew their subscription.
